- Inspect incoming raw materials, components and bought-out parts as per approved specifications and quality standards.

- Perform in-process inspection at different stages of lift manufacturing and fabrication.

- Conduct final inspection of lift components and assemblies before dispatch.

- Check dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, welding quality, alignment and assembly accuracy.

- Inspect fabricated components such as sheet-metal parts, laser-cut components, brackets, frames, cabins and doors.

- Verify components using Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, measuring tape and other inspection instruments.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, specifications and inspection standards.

- Identify and record quality defects, deviations, rework and rejection.

- Raise NCRs / rejection reports for non-conforming materials or components.

- Coordinate with Production, Fabrication, Assembly,



Purchase and Engineering teams for defect resolution.

- Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure production follows approved samples and drawings.

- Monitor critical quality parameters and ensure compliance with control plans and inspection checklists.

- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring defects.

- Maintain inspection reports, rejection records, quality check sheets and calibration records.

- Ensure measuring instruments are properly calibrated and maintained.

- Support 5S, continuous improvement and quality improvement activities on the shop floor.

- Follow company quality, safety and housekeeping standards.

- Assist Quality Engineers/Supervisors during customer inspections, audits and final product verification.
