Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Handle and lead the

Machine Shop Quality Team and coordinate daily quality activities.

- Monitor and ensure quality standards are maintained across HMC, VMC and CNC machining processes.

- Conduct in-process and final inspection of machined components.

- Handle customer complaints, rejection analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

.

- Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection reports and rejection data

.

- Conduct

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

for internal and customer rejections.

- Ensure compliance with control plans, SOPs, work instructions and quality standards

.

- Coordinate with

Production, Maintenance, NPD and Tool Room teams to resolve quality issues.

- Monitor

PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA and SPC activities as applicable.

- Handle measuring instruments and ensure calibration and proper usage

.





- Conduct process audits and support customer/internal audits

.

- Train and guide quality inspectors and shop-floor team members.

- Track rejection, rework, PPM and quality improvement targets.

- Drive continuous improvement and reduction of process defects.

Candidate Requirements

- Machine Shop experience is mandatory.

- Experience in CNC / HMC / VMC machining quality preferred.

- Experience in team handling and shop-floor quality management

.

- Strong knowledge of inspection and quality control methods.

- Knowledge of

RCA, CAPA, 7 QC Tools, SPC, MSA and Control Plan preferred.

- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.

- Local candidate preferred – Rajkot / nearby location.
