Isiri Technologies INC is looking for skilled Quality Engineers specializing in Playwright automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, UI automation, API testing, and cross-browser testing.

The role involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts, validating web application functionality, executing functional and regression tests, integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with development and QA teams to improve software quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Automation Using Playwright

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Validate web application functionality, UI behavior, and end-to-end business workflows.
- Develop reusable and maintainable automation scripts.
- Execute automated test cases across multiple browsers.
- Improve automation coverage and test execution efficiency.

1. Functional & Regression Testing

- Execute functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing.
- Use Playwright features such as auto-waiting and parallel execution.
- Validate application behavior across different browsers and environments.
- Identify and report application defects.
- Ensure application functionality meets quality standards.

1. API Testing

- Perform API testing using Playwright and related testing capabilities.




- Validate API requests, responses, and expected application behavior.
- Test API integrations and identify potential issues.
- Verify data exchange between application components.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve API-related defects.

1. Cross-Browser Testing

- Perform cross-browser testing to ensure consistent application behavior.
- Validate UI functionality across supported browsers.
- Use Playwright network interception to test application responses and network behavior.
- Identify browser-specific issues and report defects.
- Ensure a consistent user experience across supported environments.

1. Defect Reporting & Quality Assurance

- Analyze automated test results and identify failures.
- Report and track defects using Jira.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to investigate and resolve issues.
- Maintain test execution reports and relevant documentation.
- Support continuous improvement of test coverage and release quality.

Experience & Qualifications

- 1–3 years of experience in software testing or test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience in UI automation and web application testing.
- Understanding of functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing.
- Knowledge of API testing and network interception.
- Familiarity with Playwright auto-waiting and parallel execution.
- Experience with Jira for defect tracking and reporting.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
