We are hiring a Senior / Lead QA Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience to own test automation across our investment platforms. You will set the automation strategy, build and scale frameworks, and lead a team that tests portfolio management, trading, fund accounting and client reporting systems.

Key responsibilities

Strategy and leadership

- Define and own the test automation strategy, roadmap and quality metrics for front, middle and back office applications.

- Lead, mentor and review the work of QA engineers; set coding standards and best practices.

- Partner with portfolio managers, operations, business analysts and developers to turn business rules into test coverage.

- Report quality status, risk and release readiness to senior stakeholders.

Framework and engineering

- Design, build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, data and batch testing.

- Embed automated suites in CI/CD pipelines with shift-left testing and fast feedback on every build.

- Drive test data management, including masked production data and synthetic financial scenarios.

- Evaluate and introduce recent tools, including AI-assisted test generation and self-healing scripts.

Required Technical Skills

- Programming:

Expert in Java or Python, with strong OOP,



design patterns and clean code practices.

- UI automation:

Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright, plus framework design (POM, hybrid, keyword-driven).

- API automation:

REST Assured, PyTest + requests or Karate

- JSON/XML schema validation
- SOAP a plus.

- Test frameworks:

TestNG/JUnit, PyTest, Cucumber/BDD.

- Database:

Advanced SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase or Snowflake), including complex joins, aggregations and reconciliations.

- Data and file testing:

Automated validation of CSV, Excel, XML and fixed-width feeds

- ETL and data warehouse testing.

- Batch and messaging:

Autosys or Control-M jobs

- Kafka, MQ or FIX message validation.

- CI/CD and DevOps:

Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, Maven/Gradle, Docker.

- Performance:

JMeter or Gatling, covering test design, execution and analysis.

- Cloud:

Working knowledge of AWS or Azure.

- Tooling:

Jira, Xray/Zephyr, Allure/Extent reporting, and test management at scale.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related field.

- ISTQB Advanced or Test Automation Engineer certification is preferred.
