We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The candidate will be responsible for identifying bugs, improving test coverage, and ensuring the product meets business and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform manual testing on web and/or mobile applications
- Identify, report, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
- Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and UAT testing
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues
- Ensure quality standards are met before product releases
- Prepare test reports and documentation
- Participate in sprint planning and review meetings
Required Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience is required.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Knowledge of manual & automation testing concepts and methodologies
- Experience with test case design and execution
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL (optional)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Good to Have :
- Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
- Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST APIs)
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology
- Basic programming knowledge (Java, Python, JavaScript)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
