Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine microbiological testing of raw materials, finished products, water and environmental monitoring samples as per approved procedures.

- Perform Microbial Limit Test (MLT), Total Aerobic Microbial Count (TAMC), Total Yeast & Mold Count (TYMC) and other applicable microbiological tests.

- Conduct environmental monitoring of production and controlled areas.

- Perform water testing including microbiological analysis of purified water and other applicable water systems.

- Perform growth promotion testing, media preparation and media sterilization as per SOPs.

- Maintain and monitor microbial cultures, reference strains and culture records.

- Perform sterility testing and other microbiological tests, wherever applicable.

- Maintain proper documentation, worksheets, logbooks and laboratory records in compliance with GMP and GLP.

- Handle OOS, OOT, deviations, CAPA and laboratory investigations related to microbiology.

- Ensure proper cleaning, sanitization and maintenance of microbiology laboratory areas and equipment.





- Follow aseptic techniques and maintain laboratory hygiene and contamination-control practices.

- Assist in method validation/verification, disinfectant efficacy testing and environmental monitoring validation, as applicable.

- Ensure compliance with SOPs, pharmacopoeial requirements and regulatory guidelines.

- Coordinate with QA, Production and other departments for microbiology-related quality activities.

- Ensure proper handling, labeling, storage and disposal of microbiological samples and waste.

Required Skills:

- Valuable knowledge of Pharmaceutical Microbiology, GMP and GLP.

- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and contamination control.

- Good understanding of microbiological testing procedures and laboratory practices.

- Good documentation and communication skills.

- Ability to identify microbiological contamination and support investigations.

- Good knowledge of laboratory safety practices.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
