QC Manager – Villa Projects

We are looking for an experienced QC Manager with around 6 years of experience in real estate and residential construction, preferably in villa projects, premium villas, or gated communities. The candidate will be responsible for managing quality control activities, conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications, and maintaining 3

construction quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage quality control activities for villa and residential construction projects.
- Conduct stage-wise inspections from foundation and structural works to finishing and final handover.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and project specifications.
- Inspect RCC works, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, and other civil activities.
- Monitor waterproofing works in bathrooms, balconies, terraces, and other wet areas.
- Inspect flooring, tiling, painting, doors, windows, façade, and other finishing works.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, architects, and project managers to resolve quality issues.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality checklists, inspection reports, and test records.
- Monitor concrete cube tests, slump tests, material testing, and other required quality tests.




- Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct regular site quality audits and identify construction defects to minimize rework.
- Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure the quality of electrical, plumbing, drainage, and other service installations.
- Prepare snag lists, monitor defect rectification, and ensure quality compliance before villa handover.
- Maintain quality documentation, material approvals, test certificates, and inspection records.
- Ensure consistent workmanship and quality standards across all villas in the project.

Requirements

- Around 6 years of relevant experience in quality control in real estate or residential construction.
- Experience in villa projects, independent houses, premium residential projects, or gated communities is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction, RCC works, waterproofing, and finishing activities.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of applicable IS codes, construction specifications, and quality inspection procedures.
- Experience in preparing quality checklists, inspection reports, ITPs, and NCR documentation.
- Positive understanding of material testing, site inspections, snagging, and defect rectification.
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quality documentation.
