QC Engineer

Location: Por GIDC, Vadodara, Gujarat

Salary: ₹20,000–₹30,000 per month

We are looking for a QC Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The candidate should have hands-on experience in quality inspection, precision measuring instruments, engineering drawings, quality documentation, and quality improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Ensure product compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
- Conduct dimensional inspections using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Dial Indicators, Bore Gauges, and Thread Gauges.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and inspection documentation.
- Identify non-conforming products and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor process quality and ensure adherence to inspection plans and quality procedures.
- Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, and Purchase departments to resolve quality concerns.
- Maintain calibration records of measuring and inspection equipment.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
- Participate in internal, customer, and third-party quality audits.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through 5S, Kaizen,



and quality improvement activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on proficiency in precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and technical specifications.
- Good understanding of inspection methods, quality documentation, and quality standards.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 7 QC Tools, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and quality reporting.
- Robust analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with practical shop-floor quality inspection experience, good dimensional measurement skills, and knowledge of quality systems in manufacturing will be preferred.
