Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a QA professional specializing in Informatica and Ataccama. The QA specialist will design, execute, and document test cases for data quality, ETL processes, and data governance workflows built on Informatica and Ataccama platforms.

Daily responsibilities include validating data mappings, monitoring data quality rules, performing regression and integration testing, and reporting defects with transparent documentation. The role also involves collaborating with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to refine requirements, improve test coverage, and ensure compliance with internal quality standards.



The QA professional will contribute to test automation strategies, support release readiness activities, and help maintain robust quality practices across data-focused projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Management and Quality Auditing to support process improvement and compliance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or comparable regulated-quality frameworks, with the ability to apply structured quality standards to IT and data projects.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica and Ataccama (data quality, data governance, and ETL testing) is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL and data validation techniques, including working with large datasets and complex data transformations.
- Experience with test automation tools or frameworks for data-centric environments is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
