Apave Qatar is looking for experienced professionals to support the NFPS Compression Project – COMP4 Compression Complexes on long-term resident assignments at L&T; Fabrication Yards in India.

The project involves the fabrication and integration of major offshore facilities, including compression platforms, topsides, jackets, structural modules, piping systems, E&I; bulks, packaged equipment and associated offshore infrastructure.

Open Positions:

1. QC Lead – Welding

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- AWS CWI / CSWIP 3.1 certification mandatory; CSWIP 3.2 preferred
- ASNT / PCN / ISO Level II certification in RT, UT, MT and PT
- Minimum 10+ years of overall experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience in welding QC within Oil & Gas projects
- Strong offshore topside fabrication experience covering piping and structural works
- Sound knowledge of WPS/PQR, NDT, material traceability, PMI, hydrotesting and relevant ASME requirements

2. QC Lead – NDT

- Degree/Diploma in Engineering with relevant NDT certifications
- Minimum 10+ years of overall experience in Oil & Gas projects
- Extensive experience with conventional NDT methods including RT, UT, MT and PT
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Advanced NDT techniques including PAUT, TOFD and AUT
- ASNT / PCN / ISO 9712 or other internationally recognized NDT certifications preferred
- Strong offshore topside, structural and piping fabrication experience

3. QC Lead – Dimensional Control

- Degree/Diploma in Engineering or relevant discipline




- Minimum 15 years' experience in dimensional control inspection and surveying within major offshore fabrication yards
- Minimum 10+ years of Oil & Gas experience
- Proven experience leading Dimensional Control Inspectors and Surveyors
- Strong experience in structural alignment, dimensional tolerance management, interim/final as-built surveys and load-out readiness
- Hands-on experience with Total Stations, laser tracking systems, 3D laser scanning and digital survey instruments

4. Senior Preservation & Materials QC Inspector

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 15 years of overall professional experience
- Minimum 10 years of offshore Oil & Gas experience in material inspection, preservation, material coordination or QA/QC activities
- Solid knowledge of material receiving inspection, preservation, traceability, MTCs, MRBs, IRNs and quality dossiers
- Experience with structural, piping, E&I; bulk materials, cables, packaged equipment, paint systems and welding consumables
- Familiarity with ASTM, ASME, ISO and project QA/QC standards

5. HSE Officer

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science
- NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent




- Minimum 10+ years of overall professional experience
- Minimum 7+ years of HSE Officer experience within the Oil & Gas industry
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an SHES Professional
- Strong knowledge of HSE Management Systems, PTW, Risk Assessments, JSA, SIMOPS, incident investigation and contractor HSE management
- Experience in offshore topside fabrication, heavy modular construction, heavy lifting and load-out operations is highly preferred

Preferred Project Experience Across Roles

Candidates with previous experience in Offshore Topsides, Jackets, LNG Projects, Compression Platforms, EPC Mega Projects and major offshore fabrication yards will be strongly preferred.

Previous experience with QatarEnergy, Qatargas/RasGas, L&T;, McDermott, Technip/Technip Energies, Saipem, NPCC, Lamprell or similar major Oil & Gas projects/fabrication yards would be an advantage.
