Are you a QA Engineer who enjoys going beyond basic UI testing and solving complex workflow, data, calculation, and system-validation problems?

We are looking for a QA Engineer to work on software platforms involving scientific applications, laboratory workflows, instrument-connected systems, healthcare, IoT, and regulated environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, test data, and execution reports.
- Validate workflows such as method setup, sequence creation, data processing, result review, and reporting.
- Validate calculations, numeric results, units, rounding rules, flags, pass/fail conditions, and data consistency.
- Verify generated reports against expected/reference outputs.
- Validate audit trails, user actions, approvals, recalculations, and data changes.
- Perform API testing using Postman and validate REST/JSON responses.
- Execute basic SQL queries for backend and database validation.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results, logs/screenshots, severity, and business impact.
- Support UAT planning, execution, defect triage, and acceptance activities.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing workflows, calculations, reports, or data integrity.
- Maintain test plans, test cases, execution reports, traceability matrices, and QA evidence.
- Identify repeatable test scenarios suitable for automation and collaborate with automation teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- 3–6 years of hands-on QA/software testing experience.
- Strong experience in manual testing.
- Functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong test case and test scenario design skills.
- REST API testing, Postman, and JSON.
- Basic SQL and database validation.
- Strong defect reporting and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience with QA documentation and test evidence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify data mismatches, calculation issues, edge cases, and workflow gaps.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
