- Automation Test Engineer -Android / iOS applications

Job Summary

- We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in test automation and hands-on mobile application testing.

- The ideal candidate should be proficient in designing and executing automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications and have a robust understanding of software quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web and mobile applications.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

- Conduct mobile application testing on Android and iOS platforms.

- Test mobile applications across different devices, screen sizes, operating systems, and network conditions.

- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.

- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to identify and resolve issues.

- Participate in requirement analysis and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

- Execute automated and manual test cases where required.

- Integrate automation testing into CI/CD pipelines.

- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on application quality and test coverage.

- Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and overall product quality.

Required Skills

- 3-7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Test Automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress,



or similar automation tools.

- Mandatory hands-on experience in Mobile App Testing.

- Experience testing Android and/or iOS applications.

- Strong knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

- Good understanding of Java, JavaScript, Python, or other automation programming languages.

- Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar.

- Good understanding of SQL and database validation.

- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.

- Knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools.

- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

Good to Have

- Experience with Appium and mobile automation frameworks.

- Experience with real-device and emulator/simulator testing.

- Exposure to cloud-based device testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar.

- Experience with performance testing or basic security testing.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
