Role Description The Project Manager – Genset Industry will oversee end-to-end project execution for generator set installations and related power system projects in Mumbai. This full time, on-site role includes planning project schedules, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials.

Manager will manage expediting activities, monitor logistics and inspection processes, and maintain documentation to meet project milestones and quality standards. The role involves tracking project risks and costs, resolving operational issues, and communicating status updates to stakeholders.

Manager will also support continuous improvement in project workflows and adherence to safety and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong project management skills, including Project Management for planning, execution, and monitoring of genset-related projects.
- Experience in expediting functions, including Expeditor and Expediting skills to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
- Knowledge of Inspection processes to oversee quality checks, technical compliance, and commissioning activities.
- Logistics Management skills to coordinate transportation, site deliveries, and inventory related to genset installations.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field; a project management certification is an advantage.
- Experience in the genset, power systems, or heavy equipment industry, preferably in industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and work effectively in an on-site environment.
- Strong problem-solving, risk management, and organizational skills, with proficiency in MS Office and project planning tools.
