B.E./B.Tech in:

- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics & Instrumentation
- Instrumentation & Control Engineering

Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Operations, or MBA would be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Experience

Total Experience: 2030 years

Preferred Industry Background

Robust preference for experience in:

- Steel industry
- Electric Arc Furnace projects
- Large power-intensive industrial plants
- Heavy process industries

The candidate should have worked on at least one major greenfield or large brownfield industrial project. Preferred Career Progression The ideal candidate may have started in:

- Electrical Engineering
- Instrumentation
- Automation
- Electrical Maintenance
- Project Engineering

and subsequently progressed through positions such as:
- Electrical / Instrumentation Manager
- Project Engineering Manager
- Project Manager
- General Manager Projects
- Head Projects
- Project Head





Technical Review The candidate should be capable of reviewing major project decisions relating to:

- Furnace systems, Furnace transformers
- 110/115/132/220 kV substations, HV/MV/LV systems, PLC/DCS/SCADA
- Process instrumentation, Material handling, Cooling-water systems, Utilities,

Pollution-control systems, Major mechanical equipment

Preferred International Experience

Highly desirable

- Chinese technology providers
- Chinese EPC contractors
- Chinese equipment manufacturers
- Saudi Arabia / GCC
- International industrial projects

Mandatory

- 20+ years of experience
- Electrical or Instrumentation engineering background
- Steel or heavy process-industry experience
- Major project-execution exposure
- EPC contractor-management experience

Highly Desirable

- EAF / SAF exposure
- Greenfield steel or ferroalloy project
- Chinese EPC experience
- Saudi/GCC experience
- Large industrial electrical-system exposure
