Role Overview

We are looking for a Project Engineering Manager with a Structural/Civil or Mechanical Engineering background to manage engineering delivery for PEB, industrial buildings, and structural steel projects. The role involves coordinating design, detailing, fabrication, and site teams to deliver projects within agreed scope, schedules, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Manage projects from kick-off and engineering input collection through drawing delivery and execution support.

Define project scope, deliverables, schedules, manpower requirements, and engineering budgets.

Coordinate structural engineers, Tekla modellers, detailers, connection designers, fabricators, and site teams.

Ensure design inputs, drawings, material specifications, and client requirements are clearly communicated.

Track engineering progress, drawing submissions, approvals, technical queries, and outstanding decisions.

Review deliverables for completeness, coordination, and constructability; arrange technical approval by the responsible discipline engineers.

Monitor project hours, resource utilisation, scope changes, and additional work.

Lead client meetings and issue progress reports,



action lists, and recovery plans.

Resolve coordination issues affecting fabrication and erection.

Maintain quality procedures, document control, revision tracking, and project records.

Support proposals, technical clarifications, and engineering effort estimates.

Required Qualifications & Skills

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering; postgraduate qualification in Structural Engineering is an advantage.

Proven experience managing PEB, structural steel, or industrial engineering projects.

Strong understanding of steel fabrication, connection detailing, erection sequences, and engineering workflows.

Ability to interpret structural drawings, specifications, and contractual deliverables.

Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and handling client coordination independently.

Proficiency in project scheduling, progress monitoring, and resource planning.

Familiarity with Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination workflows.

Robust communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

Coordination of industrial, oil & gas, warehouse, or multistorey steel building projects.

Exposure to international clients and engineering standards.

Experience improving delivery processes through standardisation and automation.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
