Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer – MEP to manage and supervise MEP works at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, quality control, coordination with consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring that MEP works are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise, and execute MEP works as per project requirements.
- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and other MEP services.
- Review and understand MEP drawings, layouts, specifications, and BOQs.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is progressing according to the project schedule.
- Ensure MEP installations are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure proper quality standards are maintained.
- Prepare and review quantity requirements, material requisitions, and site requirements.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for timely availability of MEP materials and equipment.
- Monitor material usage and minimize wastage at site.
- Supervise subcontractors and workforce and monitor their productivity.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the relevant teams for timely resolution.
- Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and other services.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update project management.
- Assist in preparing RFI, MIR,



inspection requests, and other project documentation.
- Ensure testing and commissioning of MEP systems are completed as per project requirements.
- Monitor project timelines, quality, and cost.
- Ensure compliance with project safety procedures and applicable standards.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients and consultants regarding MEP activities.

Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical or a relevant MEP discipline.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in MEP project execution.
- Experience in commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, residential projects, or industrial projects will be an advantage.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and site execution.
- Positive understanding of MEP drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Good project planning and coordination skills.
- Strong team management and leadership skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of testing, commissioning, and quality-control procedures.
- Ability to coordinate multiple MEP activities and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant MEP standards, codes, and safety requirements.
