Role Overview

We are looking for two mid-to-senior-level developers with strong hands-on experience in Java and Python. The candidates will design, develop, enhance, and support scalable enterprise applications and microservices. They should demonstrate solid object-oriented programming fundamentals, analytical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills. Experience in banking or financial services will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and microservices using Java and Python.
- Build secure, reliable REST APIs and integrate services across enterprise platforms.
- Apply object-oriented design principles, coding standards, and reusable design patterns.
- Analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Contribute to system design, application modernization, performance optimization, and code reviews.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests and support regression and production validation.
- Collaborate with product, business, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams throughout delivery.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support CI/CD-based releases and production deployments.

Strong hands-on experience in Java and Python; excellent OOP concepts, data structures, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Java

Spring Boot, Spring MVC, microservices, REST APIs, JUnit, and enterprise application development.

Python

FastAPI and/or Django, REST APIs, Pytest, Pandas, SQLAlchemy, and backend service development.

Architecture

Microservices architecture, system design, design patterns, scalable applications,



and event-driven systems.

Data and messaging

PostgreSQL or other relational databases, Redis, and Kafka or Kafka Streams.

Cloud and DevOps

AWS, Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices.

Ways of working

Agile Scrum, code reviews, automated testing, quality engineering, and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience delivering technology solutions in banking, financial services, capital markets, or other regulated environments.
- Experience with cloud-native application development, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and production support.
- Understanding of secure coding, application performance, reliability, and observability practices.
- Exposure to Generative AI technologies such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LangChain, LangGraph, or Agentic AI is advantageous.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who is comfortable working across Java and Python ecosystems, has strong OOP fundamentals, and can solve complex application and integration challenges. The person should be able to contribute across design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Banking or financial services experience will be considered a valuable additional qualification.
