Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Purchase Manager to manage the hospital’s procurement activities, vendor coordination, inventory requirements, and purchase processes. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of medicines, medical supplies, consumables, equipment, and other operational requirements at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate favourable terms.
- Ensure timely procurement of medical, non-medical, and general supplies.
- Coordinate with various departments to understand and fulfil their purchase requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Maintain purchase orders, quotations, invoices, vendor records, and other procurement documents.
- Monitor vendor performance, delivery schedules, quality,



and payment terms.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Ensure purchases are made within approved budgets and organizational policies.
- Coordinate with Accounts and Stores for purchase orders, invoices, and payment processing.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Prepare periodic purchase reports and provide procurement updates to management.
