Job Summary

Monotech Engineers is looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for industrial machinery and engineering components. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of materials as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day purchasing activities for industrial machinery and engineering components.
- Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, and finalize purchase orders.
- Procure mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fabrication-related materials.
- Coordinate with production, design, stores, and accounts departments to understand material requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain purchase orders, vendor records, quotations, invoices, and other procurement documents.
- Monitor material quality, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
- Resolve issues related to material shortages, quality discrepancies, and delayed deliveries.




- Maintain cost-effective purchasing practices without compromising quality.

Candidate Requirements
- Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, B.Com, or any relevant graduate qualification.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in purchase or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering company.
- Knowledge of industrial machinery components, mechanical parts, and engineering materials will be preferred.
- Valuable negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Knowledge of ERP or inventory management software will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience purchasing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
- Ability to compare quotations and manage multiple suppliers.
- Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet procurement deadlines.
