Review purchase requisitions, BOQs, technical specifications, approved makes and required delivery dates.

- Source PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, I/O modules, communication modules and related automation accessories.

- Procure control-panel components such as SMPS, MCBs, relays, isolators, barriers, terminals, switches, enclosures and communication accessories.

- Support sourcing of servers, industrial computers, workstations, network switches, UPS systems, storage devices and related IT hardware.

- Obtain quotations from OEMs, authorized distributors and approved vendors.

- Prepare techno-commercial comparison statements covering model, specification, price, delivery, warranty and payment terms.

- Coordinate with Engineering and Projects for technical evaluation, clarification of deviations and vendor finalization.

- Verify model numbers, quantities, firmware or software versions, licences and accessories before purchase-order processing.

- Prepare purchase orders and amendments under the guidance of the reporting manager.

- Follow up with vendors for order acknowledgement, material readiness,



licence delivery, inspection and dispatch.

- Monitor critical and long-lead materials required for panel manufacturing, FAT and site execution.

- Coordinate with Stores and Quality for material receipt, inspection, shortages, damages and documentation.

- Resolve wrong supplies, model mismatches, missing accessories, licence issues and warranty replacements with vendors.

- Maintain project-wise purchase trackers, delivery schedules, quotation records and purchase-order documentation.

- Support Proposal and Estimation teams with budgetary quotations, lead times and current market prices.

- Identify alternate vendors and equivalent products subject to Engineering approval.

- Assist in vendor-performance evaluation based on quality, delivery, service and documentation.

- Prepare periodic reports on pending purchase orders, delayed supplies, critical items and procurement status.Role & responsibilities
