Job Title: Proto Shop Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for a Proto Shop Supervisor to manage daily prototype shop activities, including manpower handling, work allocation, machine instrumentation, test setup support, and shop floor operations. The incumbent will ensure smooth prototype build and testing activities while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily proto shop operations and manpower activities.
- Distribute work and monitor execution on the shop floor.
- Support machine instrumentation and in-house test preparation activities.
- Handle, maintain, and track test instruments and calibration records.
- Support prototype build, rework, fitment, and assembly activities.
- Ensure 5S implementation and shop housekeeping standards.
- Track consumables, tools, proto parts, and replenish as required.
- Monitor proto shop machines and track durability-related issues.
- Prepare shift schedules,



monitor attendance, and allocate daily work.
- Maintain tools and test equipment to ensure usability and availability.

Candidate Profile

- Diploma / BE Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in prototype build, shop floor supervision, testing, or validation activities.
- Strong knowledge of earthmoving or construction equipment.
- Good understanding of instrumentation, calibration, and test setup activities.
- Ability to manage manpower effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Proactive, organized, and capable of planning future requirements.
- Ability to maintain a conflict-free and unbiased work setting.
- Flexible to work on weekends based on project requirements.
