Job Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing daily production activities, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining product quality, achieving production targets, and supervising production staff while following company policies and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations and ensure timely completion of production targets.
- Allocate work and monitor the performance of production employees.
- Ensure product quality by following SOPs and quality standards.
- Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices in the production area.
- Minimize production losses and control material wastage.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control, Maintenance, and Store departments for smooth operations.
- Maintain daily production records and prepare shift reports.
Required Skills
- Valuable leadership and team management skills.
- Basic knowledge of production planning and reporting.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel & MS Word).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification
- Diploma / Graduate in any discipline (Food Technology or related field preferred).
- Graduate in any stream (B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., BBA, or equivalent).
- Candidates with relevant production experience will be given preference.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor, preferably in the Food Manufacturing Industry.
- Working Conditions
- Shift: 8-hour rotational shift (Day & Night).
