Role & responsibilities:

- Plan and schedule Machine Shop production activities to ensure timely completion of manufacturing processes within defined targets and resources.

- Identify and resolve technical issues related to Machine Shop machines, equipment breakdowns, and process inefficiencies.

- Monitor product quality through inspections to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.

- Lead and supervise operators and technicians by providing training, technical support, and performance feedback.

- Ensure Machine Shop readiness for internal and external ISO (9001, 14001, 45001, etc.) and IRIS audits by maintaining updated SOPs, NCRs, job cards, calibration/validation certificates, qualification records, and other required documents.

- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for identified non-conformities and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).





- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.

- Act as the point of contact for auditors and facilitate audits by ensuring the availability and accuracy of all required documents, records, and evidence.

Preferred candidate profile

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and quality control.

- Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and audit requirements.

- Robust team management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in production planning and ERP/MRP systems.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as welding, bending, rolling, machining, and tooling.

- Knowledge of GD&T; and basic engineering principles.

- Proficiency in MS Office, CNC/ISO programming, Eurotherm Controllers, and tooling.

- Knowledge of metrology instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Slip Gauge, and Trimos.
