We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will be the bridge between aesthetics and functionality and create modular solutions for the entire home.

Key Responsibilities

- User Surveys/interviews, store visits, competitor analysis, Indian & international market trend study etc to thoroughly understand the product category

- Conceptualise and design new modular product ranges that align with our brands aesthetics and market trends

- Develop detail product specifications, including 2D & 3D models, technical drawings and material selections

- Present design concepts and detailed proposals to internal stakeholders for review and approval.

- Work closely with the imos engineering team to translate designs to prototypes. Travel to our manufacturing facility as required during prototyping to refine and perfect the designs.





- Coordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders in the team from procurement, graphic design, L&D; to ensure the product intent is translated till launch.

- Work closely with the 3D rendering team to create the required imagery/catalogues for various product categories prior to launch

Requirements

- 5-8 years of experience specifically in the modular furniture/home interior industry.

- Bachelors/ PG degree in Product Design/Industrial Design/ Furniture Design from NID/MIT/NIFT or equivalent

- Portfolio showcasing end-to-end projects from initial sketch to final installation.

- Robust Design sensibility and practical understanding of materials and finishes. Ability to translate concepts to technically feasible designs.

- AutoCAD, Rhino/sketchup or equivalent 3D software
