Role Description The Procurement / Purchase Manager is a full-time, on-site /office role based in Hyderabad. The position is responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement activities for construction projects, including vendor sourcing, quotation evaluation, negotiation, and finalisation of purchase orders. Day-to-day tasks include managing supplier relationships, tracking material requirements, monitoring delivery schedules, and coordinating with project, site, and finance teams to ensure timely availability of materials and services.

The role involves maintaining procurement trackers, documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies, optimising cost without compromising quality, and continuously reviewing market trends and pricing. The Procurement / Purchase Manager also participates in vendor performance reviews, supports inventory planning, and contributes to process improvements in the procurement function.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement and purchasing expertise in construction projects, including vendor sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.




- Knowledge of construction materials, services, and industry standards, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and BOQs.
- Experience in cost analysis, budgeting, and price comparison to ensure value-based purchasing decisions.
- Experience including quantity take-offs from drawings, BOQ preparation/review and quantity verification.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to work effectively with project, site, finance, and vendor teams.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage multiple procurement requirements, and meet time-sensitive project deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field; relevant qualified certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
- Prior experience as a Procurement / Purchase Manager or in a similar role within the construction or project management domain is highly beneficial.
