Roles and Responsibilities

- Manage Scm , Material management &procurement; activities for electrical equipment such as DG sets, HT panels, LT panels, switchgear, transformers, power transformers, and other related items.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate prices and improve supply chain management (SCM).
- Oversee purchase vendor development to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive rates.
- Conduct price negotiations with suppliers to optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding material management and inventory control.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 25-30 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- B.Tech degree in Computers or equivalent qualification.
- Robust knowledge of SCM principles and practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills for price reduction without affecting product quality.

- - - - Experience: 25+ years in Supply Chain / Material Management





- - Industry Background: Hydro Power, Thermal Power, or Heavy Engineering / EPC

- - Core Expertise: Procurement of EBOP (Electrical Balance of Plant) items (Mandatory)

- - Budget Management: Track record in managing large procurement budgets and cost optimization

- - Global Exposure: International procurement (imports) and logistics experience

- - Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Electrical Engineering (Mandatory); MBA/PG Diploma in SCM/Materials Management (Preferred)

- Key Responsibilities
- - Oversee end-to-end SCM operations, including strategic sourcing, vendor development, logistics, and warehouse management.

- - Ensure timely procurement for manufacturing and project execution.

- - Drive cost optimization, inventory control, and vendor performance.

- - Manage global procurement and EXIM operations.

- - Partner with internal cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with project schedules.

- - Leverage ERP systems to enhance process efficiency and manage supply chain risks.

- Experience in EBOP exposure mandatory
