We are looking for an experienced Procurement professional to manage sourcing, vendor development, purchase activities and timely procurement of materials required for steel fabrication and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials, consumables, engineering items, hardware and other plant requirements.

- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.

- Obtain quotations, compare commercial offers and negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.

- Prepare and process Purchase Orders in accordance with approved requirements.

- Coordinate with Production, Projects, Stores, Quality and Accounts teams for material requirements.

- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.

- Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments and material quality.

- Develop alternate sources and maintain an effective vendor base.

- Track purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for timely deliveries.

- Maintain procurement records, MIS reports and vendor documentation.





- Support cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives.

- Handle commercial negotiations and resolve vendor-related issues.

- Ensure procurement is carried out as per company policies and approved specifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Graduate / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or a relevant discipline.

- 5 - 10 years of experience in Procurement / Purchase, preferably in steel fabrication, engineering, manufacturing, PEB or industrial projects.

- Good knowledge of sourcing, vendor development, purchase processes and commercial negotiations.

- Experience in procurement of steel/raw materials, fabrication consumables, engineering items, hardware and plant materials will be preferred.

- Strong negotiation, communication and vendor-management skills.

- Positive knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Purchase systems.

- Candidates who can independently handle procurement activities will be preferred.

- Male candidates preferred.
