Job Summary

We are looking for a technically skilled and motivated Assistant Process Engineer to support process engineering activities, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, analyze defects, and drive continuous improvement on the production line. The candidate will work closely with PE Engineers, Production, Quality, R&D;, and other cross-functional teams to improve product yield, quality, and process performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and troubleshoot anomalies for assigned models under the guidance of PE Engineers and Section Managers.
- Conduct daily line audits to monitor shop-floor conditions, verify repair records, analyze failure components, and prepare daily PE reports to support yield improvement.
- Compile weekly engineering reports, perform analysis on top defects, and drive line-side quality improvements.
- Analyze root causes of failures during Hipot (H/P) and Burn-In testing and propose corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Report electrical design issues and track the implementation status of engineering improvements by the R&D; team.
- Provide technical insights for customer complaint resolution and assist in the analysis of returned units (RMA – Return Material Authorization).
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Required Skills




- Good understanding of manufacturing and process engineering concepts.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Ability to analyze production defects and identify improvement opportunities.
- Knowledge of electrical testing processes such as Hipot and Burn-In testing will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to prepare technical reports and present engineering findings.
- Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail capabilities.

Qualification Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in Process Engineering / Manufacturing / Production Engineering.

Experience in electronics manufacturing, SMT, assembly, testing, or other industrial manufacturing environments will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
