Key Responsibilities

- Production Planning & Operations: Schedule daily and weekly print runs, manage machine utilization (rotary screen, flatbed, or digital textile printers), and hit delivery deadlines.
- Color Management & Quality Control: Oversee lab dips, strike-offs, color matching, and formulation for pigments, reactive, or digital inks to guarantee shade consistency across fabric batches.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with design, merchandising, production planning (PPC), quality assurance, and maintenance teams.
- Cost & Wastage Optimization: Monitor ink, chemical, and consumable consumption while implementing lean manufacturing or Kaizen methods to minimize defects.
- Team Leadership: Train and supervise machine operators, colorists, and shift supervisors.





Typical Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry, or Printing Technology.
- Experience: Generally 4 to 15+ years of hands-on experience in textile wet processing, color matching, and print shop floor management.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in digital or screen-printing technology, color science tools (spectrophotometers), and ERP/MIS reporting.
