Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and technically skilled PLC Sales Engineer / Industrial Automation Sales Engineer to develop and expand our industrial automation business in the Hosur and Bangalore regions.

The candidate will be responsible for field marketing, identifying new industrial customers, generating leads, conducting customer visits, understanding technical requirements, and promoting industrial automation products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Industrial Automation Product Sales

- Promote and sell PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, Servo Motors, Servo Drives, and related automation products.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable automation products.
- Generate enquiries for automation components, control panels, and automation solutions.
- Coordinate with the technical team for product selection, quotations, and technical clarification.

2. Field Marketing & Business Development

- Conduct regular field visits to manufacturing industries, OEMs, machine builders, and system integrators.
- Identify potential customers across Hosur, Bommasandra, Electronic City, Jigani, Attibele, and surrounding Bangalore industrial areas.
- Generate new leads through direct industrial visits,



cold calling, referrals, and market research.
- Build strong relationships with plant maintenance teams, electrical engineers, purchase departments, and machine builders.
- Identify current projects, machine automation requirements, and potential business opportunities.

3. Sales Execution & Customer Management

- Prepare and follow up on customer enquiries and quotations.
- Conduct technical and commercial discussions with customers.
- Maintain customer visit reports, lead details, and opportunity status in CRM.
- Follow up on enquiries, negotiate within approved commercial terms, and convert opportunities into purchase orders.
- Achieve assigned monthly sales, order booking, and customer acquisition targets.

4. Market Intelligence

- Identify competitors, market demand, and upcoming industrial projects.
- Develop new OEM and manufacturing customer accounts.
- Share regular market feedback and business development opportunities with management.

Required Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of PLC programming and industrial automation applications.
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFD, Servo Motor, and Servo Drive operations.
- Understanding of electrical control panels, sensors, industrial communication, and machine automation.
- Ability to read basic electrical drawings and understand customer technical requirements.
- Good communication, customer handling, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in EEE, ECE, E

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
