Role & responsibilities

- Provide operational support for SAP and SAP HANA platforms across production and non-production environments.

- Perform SAP Basis administration, including system monitoring, client and system refreshes, kernel upgrades, support-pack implementation, certificate management and transport management.

- Participate in SAP system upgrades and migration activities.

- Support SAP HANA administration, including installation support, SPS and revision upgrades, system replication monitoring, backup and recovery, performance monitoring and tuning.

- Support HANA Scale-Up and Scale-Out environments.

- Maintain platform compliance with security, resilience and support requirements.

- Provide L2/L3 support for SAP production systems.

- Participate in incident, problem, change and release management.

- Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, platform recovery and service restoration.

- Improve platform stability and operational efficiency.

- Support SAP workloads hosted on AWS.

- Work with AWS services and technologies such as EC2, EBS, EFS, FSx, cloud storage and BACKINT.

- Contribute to platform automation,



standardisation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Ansible, Terraform and GitHub.

- Support monitoring, alerting and observability solutions.

- Develop operational dashboards and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

- Contribute to DevOps and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP Basis experience in enterprise SAP environments

- SAP Basis administration

- Exposure to SAP HANA administration and support

- SAP production support experience

- Linux operating systems, preferably RHEL or SUSE

- SAP upgrades and maintenance

- High-availability concepts

- Backup and recovery

- Incident, problem and change management

- Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills

- Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams

Preferred Certifications

- AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate certification

- SAP Certified Technology Associate

- SAP HANA Administration certification
