Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Placement Officer to lead the Training & Placement function of the institution. The candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with companies and industry partners, driving campus recruitment, managing placement activities, and improving students' employability through career guidance and industry-oriented initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporates, MNCs, SMEs, startups, and recruitment agencies.
- Build and manage a strong database of companies for campus recruitment and placement opportunities.
- Plan and execute the complete campus placement process from company outreach to final joining.
- Coordinate with HR teams and recruiters for job openings, recruitment drives, interviews, assessments, and offer rollouts.
- Achieve placement targets and maximize student placement opportunities across different programs.
- Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, pool campus drives, and industry interaction sessions.
- Conduct pre-placement talks, career counseling sessions, mock interviews, aptitude tests, and employability workshops.
- Coordinate with academic departments and faculty members to understand student profiles and placement requirements.




- Maintain student placement records, company databases, offer letters, joining status, and placement reports.
- Track students' placement and joining status and maintain accurate placement MIS.
- Prepare regular reports on placement performance, company engagement, offers, CTC, and joining conversions.
- Develop new corporate partnerships and explore opportunities for internships, live projects, apprenticeships, and placements.
- Handle negotiations and coordination with recruiters regarding job roles, eligibility criteria, salary packages, and recruitment processes.
- Ensure smooth coordination between students, recruiters, faculty, and management throughout the placement process.
- Conduct industry visits, corporate networking events, alumni engagement activities, and employer-connect programs.
- Guide students regarding career opportunities, interview preparation, resume building, and professional skills.
- Monitor industry hiring trends and identify opportunities aligned with different academic programs.
- Lead and mentor the placement team and ensure timely achievement of departmental goals.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in Training & Placement, Campus Recruitment, Corporate Relations, Career Services, or Education/University Placement.
- Strong corporate and recruiter network.
- Proven experience in managing campus placement activities and placement teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-management, and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, industry hiring trends, and employability practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and placement MIS/reporting

Required Skill

- Experience working with a college, university, higher education institution, or professional education organization.
- Strong network with HR heads, talent acquisition teams, recruitment agencies, and corporate organizations.
- Experience in achieving placement targets and developing recent corporate partnerships.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a placement team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders..
