Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Ping Identity Consultant Freelancer. The consultant will design, configure, and implement Ping Identity solutions for client environments, ensuring secure and effective identity and access management workflows.

Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing client requirements, developing technical architectures, integrating Ping Identity with existing applications and directories, and troubleshooting implementation issues. The role also involves creating technical documentation, collaborating with client stakeholders, and providing knowledge transfer or guidance to internal and client teams on IAM best practices. The consultant will work independently, managing project tasks, timelines,



and deliverables while aligning with AskMeIdentity’s standards and methodologies.

Qualifications

- Strong Ping Identity expertise, including PingFederate, PingAccess, and PingID, with hands-on experience in solution design and implementation.
- Solid understanding of IAM concepts such as SSO, MFA, federation, OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and role-based access control.
- Experience with integration of IAM solutions into web applications, APIs, directories (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory), and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and securing identity services across distributed environments.
- Ability to gather and analyze business and technical requirements, translate them into solution architectures, and produce clear documentation.
- Strong communication skills for working with clients, presenting technical options, and providing guidance to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as a freelancer, manage multiple engagements, and deliver outcomes within agreed timelines.
- Prior consulting or implementation experience in IAM or cybersecurity domains; familiarity with tools such as Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant industry certifications in IAM or cybersecurity (e.g., Ping Identity certifications, CISSP, CISM) are advantageous.
