Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage life-support systems.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Offer emotional support to children and their families during stressful and challenging times.
- Assist in emergency situations, ensuring swift response and appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation, recording patient information and updates effectively.
- Educate families about post-discharge care and ongoing health management.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly adhered to within the unit.
- Participate in regular training and development programs to stay updated with the latest pediatric care practices.
