Role Description This is a full-time, in office P&ID; role based in Bengaluru South. The role involves developing, reviewing, and updating Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;) to meet project specifications, safety standards, and industry codes.

Daily tasks include collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, interpreting process flow diagrams and equipment layouts, and ensuring accurate representation of valves, instruments, piping, and control systems. The position also requires maintaining documentation, supporting design reviews, coordinating with project managers and clients on technical queries,



and assisting in resolving design issues during project execution. The P&ID; professional is expected to contribute to continuous improvement of standards, tools, and best practices within the engineering team.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in P&ID; development, process engineering fundamentals, and interpretation of process flow diagrams and equipment layouts.
- Candidates should possess skills in using CAD or P&ID; design tools (such as AutoCAD, SmartPlant, or similar software) and working with engineering document control systems.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety and regulatory codes, and best practices related to piping, instrumentation, and process safety.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, and clients.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve design issues and inconsistencies in drawings.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline is preferred.
- Experience in industrial projects within sectors such as Energy, Oil & Gas, or Process Industries is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South and adapt to dynamic project requirements and timelines.
