Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Presales Engineer role based in Bengaluru.

The Presales

Engineer will work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, design suitable solar solutions, and prepare technical and commercial proposals. Daily responsibilities include conducting site assessments, performing load and system sizing calculations, creating system layouts, and supporting product demonstrations and presentations. The role involves responding to technical queries, coordinating with internal engineering and operations teams for solution validation, and assisting in bid/tender preparation.

The Presales

Engineer will also maintain up-to-date knowledge of solar technologies, standards, and market trends to support accurate and competitive solutions.

**Qualifications





Solar segment experience is must minimum 2-3 years experience.**

- Strong Technical Support skills to assist customers and internal teams with solar solution design, troubleshooting, and technical clarifications.
- Presales and Sales capabilities to collaborate on proposals, presentations, and customer meetings, helping to convert opportunities into successful projects.
- Integration skills to design systems that combine solar components, inverters, storage, and monitoring platforms into cohesive solutions.
- Security awareness to ensure systems comply with relevant safety standards, electrical codes, and secure installation practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Energy, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, single-line diagrams, and system specifications.
- Proficiency with basic solar design tools and MS Office; familiarity with PV design software is an advantage.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, customer-friendly language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and documentation.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
