Position: Pre-Primary Teacher

Location: Mount Litera Zee School, Bihta, Patna

Key Responsibilities

- Create a safe, joyful, and engaging learning setting for young children.
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate activities for Nursery, Jr. KG and Sr. KG students.
- Implement play-based and activity-based learning through stories, rhymes, art & craft, music, games, and hands-on activities.
- Develop students’ language, communication, social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skills.
- Maintain proper classroom discipline using positive and child-friendly approaches.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching-learning materials, and classroom displays.
- Conduct regular assessments and maintain student progress records and portfolios.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate support.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ progress, behaviour, and development.
- Participate actively in PTMs, school events, celebrations, assemblies, competitions, and co-curricular activities.
- Ensure proper care, hygiene, safety, and well-being of children during school hours.
- Maintain classroom resources and ensure effective use of teaching aids.
- Follow the school’s academic curriculum, policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Work collaboratively with coordinators and other teachers to support the overall development of students.





Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate degree with NTT / ECCE / Montessori / D.El.Ed. or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Prior experience in pre-primary teaching will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong command of English and Hindi.
- Creative, patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach towards young learners.
- Ability to use activity-based and experiential teaching methods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital teaching tools.
- Good classroom management and organizational skills.
