Opening for Pre-Primary /Primary Teacher, at The Creek Planet Schools- Sr Seeds, Chandanagar, Hyderabad.

Job Summary

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Pre-Primary Teacher who can also effectively handle Grade 2 classes. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of early childhood education, foundational literacy and numeracy, and primary-level teaching methodologies. The candidate must be capable of creating a joyful, engaging, and student-centred learning environment while supporting the academic and overall development of children.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for pre-primary students and Grade 2 learners.
- Teach foundational skills, including language development, phonics, early mathematics, and environmental awareness.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, classroom activities, and assessments according to the curriculum.
- Use interactive teaching methods, storytelling, rhymes, play-based learning, and hands-on activities.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Maintain a safe, positive, inclusive, and well-organised classroom workplace.
- Monitor students’ academic progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain student records, assessment reports, and other academic documentation.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and academic coordinators to implement school policies and academic objectives.
- Participate in school events, meetings, training sessions,



and other academic activities.

Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Graduate in any discipline; B.Ed. or PPTTC/Montessori certification preferred, as applicable to the curriculum and school requirements.
- Experience: Prior experience in pre-primary teaching is preferred. Experience handling primary classes, particularly Grade 2, will be an added advantage.
- Strong command of English and effective classroom communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of early childhood education and primary-level teaching methodologies.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to prepare worksheets, presentations, and learning materials.

Required Skills and Competencies
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with young children.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Creativity in designing interactive learning activities.
- Ability to manage the transition from play-based learning to structured primary education.
- Good organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to teach both pre-primary and primary-grade students.
