Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and creative Power BI Developer to join our analytics team. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of advanced dashboards and data models that deliver critical insights to both internal strategy teams and external life sciences clients.

Responsibilities

- Dashboard Design & Visual Storytelling: Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards that turn multi-layered diagnostic and business data into clear visual narratives.
- Data Modeling & ETL: Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data models using DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with consulting, strategy, marketing, operations, and diagnostics teams to gather requirements and build aligned BI solutions.
- Advanced Analytics Integration: Integrate statistical and text analysis techniques (Python, R, or SPSS) to uncover hidden trends in complex life sciences datasets.
- Data Security & Governance: Manage Power BI Service environments, including workspace organization,



deployment pipelines, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Performance Optimization: Connect diverse data sources (SQL databases, cloud services, APIs, Excel) while ensuring data integrity, optimized query refresh rates, and fast load times.
- BI Standards: Drive best practices for visualization design, clarity, and usability across all business intelligence assets.

Requirements:

- Technical Expertise: Robust expertise in Power BI Desktop & Service , DAX , Power Query (M) , and SQL .
- Analytics Tools: Familiarity or hands-on experience with Python , R , or SPSS for statistical modeling.
- Domain Knowledge: Prior experience working with Life Sciences , Pharma , Clinical , or Diagnostics datasets is strongly preferred.
- Architecture & Governance: Proven experience setting up Row-Level Security (RLS), deployment pipelines, and complex data connections (APIs, SQL, Cloud).
- Soft Skills: Excellent visual design sense, business acumen, and communication skills to interface with cross-functional stakeholders.
