Role & responsibilities

- Develop, optimize, and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages in Oracle PL/SQL.

- Reverse Engineering and Change Implementation for specific Projects assigned, including performance tuning.

- Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and report data.

- Liaison with other teams such as UI & Back Developers, Database Administrator, System Administrator.

- Write scripts to migrate data from legacy systems to new transformed systems.

- Perform data migrations, ETL processes, and batch job automation.

- Perform data validation, functional testing, and ETL testing.

- Execute unit, integration, and regression tests on PL/SQL code.

Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum 3 plus years of experience in PL SQL development.

- Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries, Indexes, SQL performance tuning and PL-SQL programming (Packages, Stored procedures, Functions, Triggers, Oracle schedulers, Views and M-Views).



Data migration knowledge.

- Robust coding experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL (writing stored procedure, trigger, functions, views etc.) with good debugging skills

- Should have working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.

- Should have sound knowledge of Software Quality Practices.

- Should have sound knowledge of Release Management Process.

- Should be able to write scripts to migrate data from one system to another

- Experience in BFSI domain would be an added advantage.

- Bachelor's and Master's (preferred) in Computer Science with Strong communication skills.

- Behavioural Skills - Excellent Verbal/Written Communication skills in the English Language, Influence/Impact on decision making, Customer Orientation, Team Leading skills, Solution-oriented Leadership skills, Visionary mind-set.
