Purpose of Job

PGT Geography, employs innovative pedagogical techniques, classroom management strategies, and behavior modification to instruct students. Comprehensive experience in delivering differentiated, engaging, and inquiry-based lessons. Insight into the diversity of learning styles with a background in working for non-profit organizations to provide opportunities for education to the less privileged.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery:

· Develop and deliver lessons aligned with the school curriculum and educational standards.

· Integrate innovative teaching methodologies, including project-based and experiential learning.

· Use a variety of resources such as maps, digital tools, and fieldwork to enhance learning.

Student Engagement:

· Create a classroom environment that promotes active participation and enthusiasm for learning.

· Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through discussions, debates, and case studies. ○ Provide individualized support to address diverse learning needs.

Assessment and Feedback:

· Design and administer assessments, assignments, and projects to evaluate student progress.





· Provide constructive feedback to help students improve and achieve their academic goals

Classroom Management:

· Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.

· Inform SMC for any behavioral issues in accordance with school policies.

Extracurricular Involvement:

· Organize or assist with geography-related activities such as clubs or field trips.

· Encourage student participation in local and global initiatives related to geography and environmental awareness.

Required Qualification and Experience

· Post Graduate in M.Sc. Geography and B. Ed. is mandatory.

· A minimum experience of 2 years of teaching in grades 11th and 12th .

· Positive classroom management skill

· Teamwork and collaborative thinking

· Good communication skills.

· Expertise in subject

· Tech Savvy with basic knowledge of MS Office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
