Role & responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons as per CBSE curriculum.

- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets and assessments.

- Explain mathematical concepts using practical examples and student-friendly methods.

- Conduct regular tests, assignments and examinations and evaluate student performance.

- Maintain student notebooks, academic records and assessment data.

- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial/support classes to students.

- Monitor students academic progress and provide timely feedback.

- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning workplace.

- Conduct doubt-clearing and revision sessions before examinations.

- Communicate with parents regarding students academic performance and areas for improvement.

- Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, school events and academic activities.

- Coordinate with the Academic Coordinator/HOD for curriculum planning and completion.

- Use appropriate digital tools, activities and innovative teaching methods to improve learning outcomes.

- Ensure timely completion of the syllabus and effective preparation for CBSE examinations
