Job Purpose To deliver effective and engaging Chemistry lessons to senior secondary students (Classes XI–XII), develop scientific thinking, and prepare students for board examinations through quality teaching, practical demonstrations, and regular assessments.

1. Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver Chemistry lessons according to the CBSE/ISC curriculum and school academic guidelines.

- Teach theoretical concepts and practical applications of Chemistry to Classes XI and XII.

- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and revision materials.

- Conduct laboratory practicals while ensuring proper safety protocols and handling of chemicals.

- Assess student performance through tests, assignments, practical examinations, and projects.

- Monitor students’ academic progress and provide remedial support to students who need additional guidance.

- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive examinations, wherever required.

- Maintain accurate records of attendance, marks, practical work, and academic progress.

- Integrate digital tools, demonstrations, and activity-based learning into classroom teaching.

- Coordinate with the Principal, HOD, and other teachers regarding academic planning and student development.

- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, training sessions, and school events.

- Ensure discipline,



student safety, and compliance with school policies.

1. Required Skills and Competencies

- Robust subject knowledge in Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry.

- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

- Ability to explain complex scientific concepts in a simple and effective manner.

- Practical laboratory management and chemical safety awareness.

- Student assessment, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in using smart boards, digital teaching tools, and MS Office.

- Effective teamwork and time management.

1. Educational Qualifications

- M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized university.

- B.Ed. from a recognized institution, as required by applicable recruitment norms.

- Relevant teaching experience at the senior secondary level is preferred.

- Completion of the prescribed syllabus within the academic calendar.

- Quality of lesson planning and classroom delivery.

Pay: ₹39,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
