PGT English Teacher Position Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – English Experience Minimum 1 Year of Teaching Experience Job Summary We are looking for a passionate, qualified, and dedicated PGT English Teacher to join our academic team. The candidate should have strong command over English language and literature, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to engage senior secondary students through innovative and student-centred teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities - Teach English for Classes XI and XII as per CBSE/NCERT curriculum.

- Prepare and deliver effective lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical-thinking skills.
- Prepare students for board examinations through regular practice, revision, and competency-based questions.
- Conduct periodic tests, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records, lesson plans, and student progress reports.
- Use appropriate ICT tools, digital resources, and innovative teaching strategies.
- Encourage students to participate in debates, discussions, presentations, literary activities, and competitions.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.




- Coordinate with parents and colleagues regarding students’ academic progress and development.
- Participate actively in school events, meetings, workshops, and other academic activities.
- Contribute to the overall academic and co-curricular development of students.

Required Qualifications - Postgraduate degree in English from a recognized university.

- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Solid command of spoken and written English.
- Valuable knowledge of CBSE curriculum, assessment patterns, and board examination requirements.
- Basic proficiency in digital teaching tools and MS Office/Google Workspace.
