PCB Design Engineer – Schematic & PCB Layout

Shara Circuits Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Design Engineer with hands-on experience in electronic schematic design and PCB layout. The candidate will be responsible for developing PCB designs from concept to manufacturing, ensuring design quality, reliability, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and modify electronic schematics based on project requirements.
- Design PCB layouts, including component placement, routing, and multilayer board design.
- Work with analog, digital, power supply, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Create and maintain schematic symbols, component footprints, and PCB libraries.
- Generate Gerber files, drill files, BOMs, fabrication drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Ensure PCB designs comply with DFM, DFA, and applicable IPC standards.
- Coordinate with PCB fabrication, component procurement, assembly, and testing teams.
- Review designs, troubleshoot layout issues, and implement design improvements.
- Work closely with hardware engineers and clients to meet project specifications and deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications




- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of practical experience in schematic design and PCB layout.
- Proficiency in at least one PCB design tool: Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, or Cadence Allegro.
- Good understanding of electronic components, circuit design, and PCB manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of multilayer PCB design, routing techniques, grounding, and power distribution.
- Ability to read schematics, datasheets, and technical specifications.
- Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in designing boards for R&D; and new product introduction (NPI) projects.
- Knowledge of high-speed design, signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and design verification.
- Experience coordinating with PCB fabrication and PCBA teams.
