We are looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team and support a U.S.-based medical clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, insurance-related activities, referrals, follow-ups, and communication between patients, providers, and internal healthcare teams.

The candidate must have excellent English communication skills and be comfortable communicating professionally with U.S.-based patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients professionally.
- Communicate with U.S.-based patients regarding appointments, referrals, insurance, and general clinic-related questions.
- Register new patients and update demographic and insurance information.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and advantages.
- Review copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and patient responsibility information.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists, diagnostic facilities, laboratories, and other healthcare providers.
- Assist with prior authorization coordination and follow up on pending authorizations.
- Follow up with patients regarding referrals, appointments, diagnostic tests, and recommended services.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient calls, communications, referrals, and follow-ups in the EHR.
- Coordinate with physicians, clinical staff, billing/RCM, and front-desk teams.
- Identify and escalate clinical or urgent patient concerns to the appropriate clinical staff.
- Assist in resolving front-end issues that may result in claim denials.
- Provide professional and courteous service to patients.




- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and clinic policies.
- Perform other patient coordination and administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Excellent English communication skills are mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written English skills.
- Must be comfortable speaking with U.S.-based patients and healthcare providers over the phone.
- Previous experience in a U.S. healthcare or medical office workplace is preferred.
- Experience with patient scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, or prior authorization is preferred.
- Knowledge of U.S. healthcare insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance is an advantage.
- Experience working with EHR/EMR systems is preferred.
- Strong telephone etiquette and professional communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Solid attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential patient information responsibly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Important Shift Information

This is a mandatory night-shift position: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be comfortable working U.S. business hours.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
