About the Client: The client is one of India's most active and unique multi-stage venture capital platforms , dedicated to backing promising entrepreneurs in the world's fastest-growing startup ecosystem. They have deployed over USD 300 Mn across 400+ companies.

The Role: The client is seeking a Partner-level leader to drive one of their core sector clusters while co-leading the strategy for their CAT I Angel Fund. This role combines investment leadership, team management, sector-building, and founder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Investment Ownership: Own the full cycle: sourcing, evaluation, IC, negotiation, Fundraising, Monitoring, Exits.
- Team & P&L; Leadership: Lead and mentor an 8-10 member sector cluster , with full P&L; ownership for the sector.
- Sector Strategy: Build sector insights, market maps, competitive landscapes,



and investment theses.
- Founder Partnership: Act as the primary bridge between founders and internal teams , supporting founders across GTM, product, fundraising, governance, and hiring.
- CAT I Angel Fund: Co-drive sector pipeline and fund strategy , and engage with LPs and strategic partners.

Candidate Profile:

- 6-10+ years in VC, CVC, IB, PE, consulting, or startup leadership.
- Robust experience across sourcing, evaluation, portfolio, and exits.
- Experience in team leadership & P&L; ownership.
- Sector knowledge in Deeptech/AI/Fintech/D2C.
- Founder-friendly, analytical, and execution-driven.
