About the Role:

SNPJ is a Tier-1 OEM supplier of precision components to the 2W/3W automotive industry. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to run shift operations on our liquid spray coating line, owning output, coating quality, and manpower on every shift.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute the shift production plan for liquid spray coating, curing, and related finishing operations
- Control process parameters: paint viscosity, spray pressure, gun-to-part distance, booth conditions, and oven temperature and cure time
- Ensure coating quality per specification: film thickness, adhesion, appearance, and finish consistency
- Run first-piece approval and in-process checks as per the Control Plan before releasing each lot
- Drive root cause analysis on coating defects (orange peel, runs, pinholes, dry spray, contamination, colour variation) and close corrective actions on time
- Manage paint, thinner, and consumable usage; track consumption against plan and reduce wastage
- Manage manpower allocation, attendance, and shift staffing
- Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance for booth, oven, spray equipment, and instrument upkeep and calibration
- Enforce safety compliance (PPE, ventilation,



solvent and chemical handling, fire safety) and 5S on the line
- Maintain shift-end reporting: output vs. plan, rejection %, downtime log, and paint consumption
- Follow process discipline as per IATF 16949 standards

Required Skills:

- Hands-on supervision of a liquid spray coating line (manual spray painting, spray booths, curing ovens)
- Knowledge of liquid paint systems, thinners, viscosity control, and curing parameters
- Coating inspection methods: film thickness measurement, adhesion testing, visual standards
- Defect analysis and corrective action in a coating setting
- IATF 16949 / ISO exposure and control plan adherence
- Shift and shop-floor manpower management
- Awareness of solvent and paint safety norms

Education: Diploma/B.E. (Mechanical/Production/Chemical/Paint Technology) Experience: 5 - 8 years in liquid spray coating line supervision, preferably in automotive component manufacturing

Other Requirements:

- Must be willing to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts
- Hands-on shop-floor role
