Job Purpose The Outreach Officer will be responsible for expanding the University's outreach and student recruitment activities by building robust relationships with schools, colleges, educational counsellors, students, parents, and other relevant stakeholders. The role will focus on generating prospective student leads, promoting University programmes, and supporting the Admissions team in achieving enrolment targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. School & College Outreach

- Identify and develop relationships with schools, junior colleges, coaching institutes, and other educational institutions.
- Plan and conduct school/college visits, career guidance sessions, seminars, workshops, and student engagement activities.
- Coordinate with school/college authorities for permission and scheduling of outreach activities.
- Develop a regular pipeline of institutions for outreach and student engagement.

2. Student & Parent Engagement

- Interact with prospective students and parents and provide information about University programmes, eligibility, admission process, scholarships, facilities, and career opportunities.
- Address basic queries and guide prospective students towards the appropriate admission counsellor/team.
- Follow up with prospective students generated through outreach activities.

3. Lead Generation & Conversion Support

- Generate quality admission leads through institutional visits, events, career fairs, education exhibitions,



and other outreach initiatives.
- Maintain proper records of leads and ensure timely follow-up.
- Coordinate with the Admissions Counselling team for lead conversion.
- Track the progress of leads generated through outreach activities.

4. Events & Admission Activities

- Represent the University at education fairs, career fairs, exhibitions, seminars, conferences, and other admission-related events.
- Organize and coordinate campus visits, open houses, career counselling sessions, and student interaction programmes.
- Support admission campaigns and promotional activities conducted by the University.

5. Relationship Management

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with school principals, counsellors, teachers, education consultants, and other institutional stakeholders.
- Build a network of referral sources to support long-term student recruitment.
- Maintain professional communication and regular engagement with key stakeholders.

6. Market & Competitor Feedback

- Gather information regarding student preferences, emerging courses, competitor institutions, fee structures, scholarships, and admission trends.
- Provide market feedback and suggestions to the Admissions team for improving outreach and recruitment strategies.

7. Reporting & MIS

- Maintain daily/weekly records of school visits, meetings, events, leads generated, follow-ups, and conversions.
- Submit regular outreach reports to the reporting manager.
- Maintain an updated database of schools, colleges, counsellors, students, and other relevant contacts.
- Track outreach targets and performance against assigned KPIs.
