Roles and Responsibilities

- Assist optometrists in performing eye exams, including vision testing and prescribing glasses or contact lenses.

- Operate phacoemulsification equipment during surgical procedures such as cataract removal.

- Conduct refractions to determine the correct prescription for patients' glasses or contacts.

- Maintain accurate records of patient data, test results, and treatment plans.

- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to patient inquiries and concerns.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 2-7 years of experience in an optical store setting with a focus on ophthalmology or optometry.

- Strong understanding of optics principles, including refraction techniques and phacoemulsification procedures.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a quick-paced environment with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients from diverse backgrounds.

- Proficiency in using computers for record-keeping purposes (e.g., electronic health records).
